In an industry that thrives on business confidence, and to a great extent, bravura, the Victorian Government has embarked on a major overhaul of the central area planning controls the likes that Melbourne has not seen in twenty years.

Recently released Amendment C270, which prescribes new rules about building height, density and setbacks, has copped its fair share of public comment.
