High Demand / Solid Returns – Boutique Apartments

For the past decade Australia has seen a trend towards an older demographic seeking to downsize to highly liveable townhouses and apartments. Developers specialising in this market have experienced strong market uptake and pleasing financial returns. A landmark 2014 study tabled by the University of New South Wales found that these so-called “empty-nesters” or “down-sizers” were most prevalent in Victoria followed by NSW.
